Nicki's Travel Newsletter #8
Hey Everyone!
I hope your week is amazing so far. I have been in Vancouver, BC for the last couple days before heading to Alaska today! I got into a couple adventures here .. like walking across the Capilano Suspension Bridge and taking a seaplane! I have not shared it on social media yet but I am telling you guys first :) It has been very dreary here in Vancouver and today the sun is peaking through - so that is a nice change of pace.
Get Paid to Travel - if you are ready to leave the 9-5 and live a life of travel, my comprehensive e-book teaches everything! You will need to put in the work, but it has been the most rewarding career and business. THIS IS ON SALE 50% OFF for the first 100 people. You guys know about it first! The code is 50OFF - use it at check out.
Travel deals! As you know, I only like to share what I think is an absolute bargain. Here is what I found this week:
Alaska – summer is the best time to visit Alaska for warmer temperatures and it’s truly quite beautiful. I found a deal for a week long cruise with Holland America for $399 per person. This is a great deal for Alaska (and any cruise really). Bonus: You will get to visit Tracy Arm, where I think is the most beautiful place in America! I have been on two different Alaskan Cruises, one with Holland America – and it was fantastic.
Here are some of my Alaska Blogs to help if you are planning to go:
MY Glacier Bay Cruise with Holland America (almost the same itinerary)
Flights to Fiji, Australia and New Zealand - these prices are so good round trip from the USA - I doubt they will last long.
My Travels:
I am heading to Alaska for the next 12 nights and have some incredible adventures planned. I’ve been looking forward to sharing this trip with you guys because last time I was in Alaska (2019) video wasn’t a big thing on social media - so I am looking forward to sharing this stunning state through my eyes and video.
Social Media:
I know some of you only follow me on my blog and/or a social media – but I do have several channels you can find me on (if you want):
Popular articles on the blog:
Products I LOVE!
Universal Travel adapter - a couple of you asked this week what I charge my stuff with when I travel. I never leave home without this because some hotels and resorts have 1-2 plug outlets, some need the power converted and so on. I can charge everything safely and securely at once.
Reusable film camera - this super cheap reusable film camera has been my ride or die the last couple months. I have so much film to get developed. I love this because its portable, I can enjoy moments without getting the “perfect shot” and I love the nostalgia of it.
Skin hydration from flying and traveling - some of you asked this week what I do about dry skin from long flights and changing climates. I use these face masks on any flight over 5 hours and I use a face mask during the week. I swear they are a game changer. They are on the $$$ end but probably the best thing I have ever put on my face,
Chair clips – these are cheap and perfect for the beach, cruises or really anywhere you want a towel to stay secured. Plus, when you are in the water or away from your chair, it is evenly spread out for when you return and can dry faster.
After Burn sheet mask for face – these are AMAZING! I used both the face and chest mask when I burned in the Maldives and now I take them on every beach trip. You just never know.
Portable carbon monoxide detector – this should be in everyone’s bag and should be the hottest travel item of the year. I know the odds of getting carbon monoxide are low, but never zero.
Collapsible water bottle – I have been using this for a while and love that it collapses into a small, easy to pack item. Really great for going through security and filling up on the other side in the airport and for when you are traveling and doing everyday activities.
Amazon Store Front – you can find all my favorite items here.

My Products:
Instagram Reels for travel creators – this is my e-book I created teaching travel creators how to have success with reels, which is what Instagram is prioritizing now over in feed photos. I grew my own account to nearly 300K in a year!
Edit your photos like me - I created presets awhile back and you can edit your photos with easy 1 step presets.
