Nicki's Travel Newsletter #1
Hey Everyone!
I hope your week is lovely. This is the very first newsletter I have ever sent out. Some of you I merged from my website (Eatlivetraveldrink.com) where you signed up. It is easier for me to keep everyone in the same spot.
First things first – travel deals! As you know, I only like to share what I think is an absolute bargain. Here is what I found this week:
Bora Bora – this deal will not last. The deal covers round trip airfare from LAX, inter-island airfare from Tahiti to Bora Bora, 5 nights in an overwater villa at the Conrad, round trip boat transfer to the hotel from the airport, breakfast buffet, 3 course nightly dinner, Wi-Fi, and all the airfare and hotel taxes (which can get costly). Pricing is starting at $4569/ per person in November and slightly more for the first two weeks in December.
I stayed at the Conrad in summer 2019. I stayed in a different room than what is being offered (still amazing) but you can still read a little bit about my experience here.
The only thing you will need to cover outside of this deal is flights to LAX if you do not already live in the area, lunch and snacks if you want it, alcohol, and any incidentals.
*Pro Tip: Alcohol can get costly but each person is allowed to bring 2 liters into Tahiti. I always pack 2 bottles of wine and then whoever is traveling with me will bring 2 bottles of something else – maybe champagne, rose, liquor – whatever.
Flights to Tahiti - if you are planning a trip to Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, or any of the other Society Islands and you do not want the deal above, there is a current flight deal for $798 (there are date restrictions) with Air Tahiti Nui. This is a pretty solid deal - Air Tahiti Nui tends to be very expensive and I rarely come across deals from the airline - but it does happen from time to time.
Windstar is having a sale on cruises - up to 45% off. I have not talked in-depth about my cruises with Windstar BUT they are amazing. Their cruise ships are not like big ocean liners, they are smaller and hold less than 400 guests. Which makes the ship easy to get into smaller ports that bigger ships cannot access. I have done two Tahiti cruises with Windstar and they were spectacular. I have also cruises the Caribbean. I will be doing an Alaska cruise this summer as well and Europe. So you could say I love them.
Upcoming Travels:
I was supposed to be in Mexico this week but I had a personal matter come up. Next week I will be visiting … maybe Turks and Caicos (trying to iron this out) and Williamsburg, Virginia! Fun fact - before the Pandemic, I did a pretty equal share of visits between beach and city destinations. However, at the front end of the Pandemic, clients wanted beach destinations pushed out so people could be outside and away from everyone. I am excited to do more city travel this year. It has been awhile.
Social Media:
I know some of you only follow me on my blog and/or a social media – but I do have other channels you can find me on (if you want):
New on the Blog:
30th Birthday Destinations – you guys have been asking for this and I am sorry it took so long.
Hilton Moorea – if you are visiting French Polynesia, highly recommend visiting! It is more budget friendly than Bora Bora and is easier to navigate, more to do on the adventure side and the lagoon is so stunning!

Products I am LOVING!
Recently I was feeling nostalgic for a simpler time. Remember back in the day when we would take photos with disposable cameras and we didn’t care if they were perfect? I miss that. I purchased this film camera which was about $27 and plan to use it all year to document my travels for personal use. I miss having photo albums with photos to look at. And yes, I could use my professional gear – I am looking to this camera because I will not know if I got “the shot.” And I don’t care. This is how I want to preserve my personal travel memories and have fun with it.
Here is the reusable film camera I got and love!
Mini refillable perfume bottles!
I have been using these mini perfume bottles for months and I LOVE them! I was always suckered into buying the smaller version of perfumes that seem to cost more because of convenience – but no more. I like these because they are easy to use and you get 4 with a pack… so you can easily travel with more than one perfume.
Amazon Store Front – you can find all my favorite items here for travel and life.
*Please note - if you do purchase anything through my links, I may make a small commission.*
My Products:
I get a lot of messages from you guys looking to get into my line of work – AKA content creator. I did write an entire e-book that teaches everything I do in simplest terms. It is over 100+ pages and it is very easy to digest.
I also have an e-book on Instagram Reels for travel. I have been able to grow my page over 260,000+ in under a year from reels and if you have a travel business and you aren’t using them, you are missing growth opportunity and new clients. I would consider using them.
That is all for this week! I hope you guys have a wonderful week and hopefully some of you can take advantage of that Bora Bora deal.
